blown CP3 freeze plug?
Ok I have heard of this happening but where are the freeze plugs? My CP3 is leaking fuel bad and it is not coming from any of the fittings. Does anybody have any pictures as to where the freeze plugs are and what do you do if you blew a freeze plug? I also did get a DTC of high rail pressure, so something is blown I just need to figure out what. If not the freeze plug is there somewhere else that could have blown to cause that much diesel to pour out?

The freezeplugs are found on the high pressure side. You should be able to see one just looking down into the hood at the pump.
If you blew a freezeplug on the pump it's most likely ruined. Start looking for a good deal on a CP3
Did you recently have some work done on your CP3? If so, there's a chance one of the check ***** were left out on re-assembly. If this is the case you over pressurized your pump and trashed it.
