Bleeding power steering pump??
Bleeding power steering pump??
So.. My new pump failed after a couple of weeks and I have a replacment pump. Napa pulled a TSB that these pumps on the Dodge need to be vacumed at 24 inch to pull all the air with a specail tool that attaches in lue of the res. cap. then started and steering wheel cycled 3 times.
Is this correct?
Is this correct?
Update, I made my own cap and used my hand vac. pump. I have to say... it worked great. Sucked the air right out. Had to refill Res. 1 time and then top off. Looks like it work according to the TSB. Hope I don't need to do this again.
