Bilsteins #'s ????

Ok, lots of folks have em on their trucks, I am thinking of a set and just can not seem to wde through the info good enough to figure out what part numbers I am in need of. I have a 2 inch level kit on my truck, so if any of you know which ones I should be after. please, help a brother out and let me know. maybe we can add a section to the wiki on Bilsteins along the way too for others.

Try this page

Its important to remember the HD's are for non lifted trucks due to the length and valving and the 5100 are for lifted trucks due their length and valving. They are valved differently in that the HD's are a more capable shock when loaded down like towing 5th wheels and such.

Even though the 5100's will fit a non lifted truck Bilstein will tell you the HD's are the right choice for non lifted. I not only spoke with Bilstein on this but also confirmed at this years SEMA show with a couple of Bilstein reps.
So for your 2" lift it would be:
Front- BE5-6681-H6
Rear- BE5-6647-H1 and are also found on this page.

there are only 2 part #'s for 3/4 ton 1 ton 03'+ diesels. One has a little more travel in the front. The rears are the same. They are all 5100 series. I have a Kore Recon and so does bosshogg...we both went with the cheaper part number in the front which has less travel and they are awesome. I have had all (except sway-away) the super high end shocks on my 03 ferd and my 05' ctd and none were as good as the custom valved billstien 7100's. On my 07' the 5100's with a two inch lift and ranch hands front and rear are just fine
