Does anyone know where a guy can get a non inflated price on the BFGs here in Canada ? I bought my last ones for 260 CDN and know they want 340 CDN on SALE, LOL. Anyone have any ideas ?

That's a load range D tire, you should have an E. Toyo M/T, Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip, and Nitto make 35x12.50/17 in a load range E.

But -- to answer your question, try Hummer dealers. In the U.S. it is common to get a set of all four of them for $300 - $400 US. E-Bay also has them from time to time, keep an eye out there.

If you are set on load range D tires, check out the Cooper Tires. Also -- maybe the Fun Country II tires?

Either way, it's much safer to stick with the E rated tires. The BFG acts like a basketball if you hit bumps right and can initiate the infamous death wobble -- the BFG tires are a definite pattern that we discussed recently over on the TDR.

i just sold a set for $900 cdn. brand new take offs. put wanted adds on the truck websites particularly dieselplace.com. they seem to have quite a few sets go through their swap meet. if you want you can pm me my buddy works at the hummer dealer in edmonton and i can tell him to watch for them.
forgot to mention i got a price of $285 from a small dealer 30 min. north of edmonton.
