Anybody doing this on a newer truck? I already have a turbo and have been thinking about just doing away with the box and running some better sticks. I know! I know! I'll still end up throwing a box back on but I'm not gonna HotRod this one like I did the 03 so I'm just looking for better driveability...

I may be the guinea pig if I do this..... I guess I was just wondering if the stock fuel system was adequate to support this combo.......

 

From what ive learned over the past couple years about reading on these sites is that u need the box on these newer ones cause of the electronics that are incorperated with the injection cycle. Maybe i dont know much, but i know the old VP trucks all u needed was a big turbo and some sticks and u were set. But u never know, u might be on to something that everyone will be doing sooner or later.

If you run a boost fooler with the turbo and injectors it should run pretty well. I find with my truck just turning the Quad box on the 30Hp setting really helps get it moving. I think the stock system and a set of 50-90 Hp injectors would be a very reliable smooth running combo. That being said adding in the Quad box will make that combo run that much better and still be reliable.
