Sometimes when I am towing, I don't always feel like having to powerwash my trailer off when I get somewhere because of the billowing black smoke!
And as you can imagine, Optimus puts out quite a bit of smoke! I am currently running the brand new Smart version on Wild #9 and the TST on 1/0 for fuel economy. What do you think the best compromise of reduced smoke and power is on the Smarty for both level and TQ management? I was hoping other people might have some input so I don't have to spend 15 minutes per software choice and then go test drive each choice!

I had the same problem and marco told me to load the program with stock torque management since it came with the mild. This did not help, and Bob told me to load the afermarket injector software with the mild torque management. This has seemed to helped a lot with the smoke, although I have yet to tow my trailer with it, but I like it a lot better.
I dont know, I just got my Smarty, but Lvl 9 is pumpin some smoke man! Simple solution, turn that sucka down!!
Not that you havent thought of that, but Optimus I believe has more than enough juice with the Smarty turned down to haul rear with a trailor!! After all it is Optimus, right? = alot less smoke!

Well, I am trying to decide on whether or not I am still doing dual 6" mitres which would get it up in the air where it disapates before getting to the trailer too much. It's just going to be a major project and I am not sure if I want to spend the money on the mod or not!
