Best place to buy stacks + poll on black or chrome

Been saving up for quite some time now and I am going to buy me a set of dual 6" stacks. Where is the cheapest place to get a set? I'm thinking their probably gonna be either Grand Rock or Silverline. They seem to have the best prices. Haven't decided yet wether to get chrome or black. My truck is black, chrome wheels and bumpers. Whats everyones opinion? Best place I have seen so far is chrome stack mafia, they have the best prices. Thanks.

I voted for black and like it better myself but that was before reading your post. If chrome goes better with your rims and bumpers that might be a better move.

What does stacks do to the usefulness of a trucks bed? Do they take up a lot of space? Are they a danger to your cargo do to heat?

Mine arent chrome or black,,, what now? Is there still time to vote for polished stainless?
I made mine for about $250 in parts. Yes they are 6" polished stainless and I got the (2) 48" pieces and the section across the bed at my kids place of business, it was left over tubing from a food grade stainless job and was headed for the recycler so I snagged them. TIG welded for a few hours and there you have it, maintenance free, no rust and Edit lookin.
go for chrome if you have a choice and i personally dont care for clamps and bands and hardware, go welded if you can.

I'm just curious if I get black stacks whether or not they will even stand out against a black truck. Thats my dilemma. I would eventually love to get black wheels, and bumpers, then I think black stacks would look awesome cause everything would be blacked out. Does anyone have any pictures of a black truck with black stacks or chrome.

Go with the blackstainless. that would look good and i think it would have the right amount of stand out for a black truck. my two pennies.

Also, how much does the regular 36" stack kit stick up over the cab. I can just barely get into my garage now so this is a big deal. Can they be adjusted to be right at cab height?

i have the 36" stacks and if i remember correctly, they stick above the cab about 3" or so. they can be cut down to the right height as well.
