Send the DD3's to Don and get his tips put on and then you will have a stock set of injectors, a set of F1 injectors, and can sell the DD3 tips. That is what DD is doing now, just selling tips.

There is alot to mess up while changing the nozzles out on these electronic injectors, mainly getting any dirt or crud inside. Plus before Don puts the injectors back together, he cleans and rebuilds/refinishes the insides of the injector where most of the wear and tear occours.

You missed out. BD had a price increase on 1 Jan 05. Retail is now $4,600 and there are probably better kits available with external gates for that kind of money. Jegs is still the best advertised price at $3,900, which is pretty appealing for everything you get.

Late last year before the price increase and when BD was trying to get their new kits in the field for some exposure, 3rd Gen kits could be had for as little as $2,800 through select dealers and $3,200 to $3,600 just about anywhere. That was a deal.

Kyle with Extreme Diesel Performance had them for this price but I think he sold his business. Mike

I was going to recommend he check there as well but his web site was gone when I looked for his number this morning. Sold it huh? I just bought stuff from him two weeks ago and he didn't say a word. Do you know who he sold out to?

I did the same thing looking at Kyle's website, it was no longer there. I was going to get in touch with him on getting the upgrade kit for my single Super "b" to make it a twin set up. What a bummer, now I may have to go somewhere else to spend some cash. Good business would have been to get in touch with your existing customers and let them know and if indeed the business was sold, then contact information to the new owner would have been awesome. Now I am looking towards a whole different setup.

I believe its eveything except for the Single Super B that was purchased previously. It has everything in the kit that the twin kit has, but is missing a turbo. At least that is what i have been told.

Exactly. Hot pipe, cold piping, all clamps/seals/boots, oil feed/drains, all bolts/mounting hardware, primary brace, ATS manifold, special variation of the X-Intake system, 4" downpipe, primary (big) turbo.....everything.

A few pics of what they look like:

Thanks. BD Twins. Retail is $4,600. They are one of the best looking kits I have seen, but for that much cash, I would get a set with an external wastegate for more adjustability. They can be had for $3,900 from several vendors which isn't a bad price I guess considering everything you get. Kyle from Extreme Diesel Performance use to sell them cheaper than that before he sold his business. If you can find them for $3,500, that would be a deal and I wouldn’t pass it up. I paid in the neighborhood of $2,700 for mine , and with lots of porting and polishing, they do quite well.

Like a jet engine under the hood. Everyone looks to see what's coming. Two turbos singing in unison....nothing else sounds like it.
