is anyone running the banks techi cooler intercooler and high ram intake? it kinda alot of money and i want to make sure the power and cooling is worth the coin. banks told me that you wont see alot of power gains but the egts come down, which is one of my problems. i cant run my edge box in level 5 or 6 without hitting my max egt's of 1350. i can get through 1st and 2nd gear and then i max out the egt's. thanks for you help

 

Not currently on my truck, but I've had experience with them and they are both awesome parts. Way too expensive, but quality.

 

Put the coin toward a turbo. Your stock stuff is good for 600 hp with a good turbo. With no stix I would get a 62/65/13 or if you plan on ever getting stiks decide now and get it once. Or if I had to do it again I'd just get the s400 under the stocker and be done. I have never used an aftermarket Intercooler but have heard they are a waste of money for mild built trucks.

 

I just got a intake from a guy in who makes his own. I am not sure why I waited so long. I think it made a big difference on spool and cruising egt's. Before I would smoke out every corner I went around, now I can give a little throttle around the corners and not smoke. It was well worth the $150 came with 4 ports and powdercoated.

 

i just got a banks intercooler used from classifieds have not installed it yet, i have the CFM+ intake horn. HTT told me my turbo would flow alot more than my stock intercooler so an upgrade would help. If i would not have found one used I would not have gotten one because of the price.
