plastic pipe- intercooler to intake horn on 07

plastic pipe- intercooler to intake horn on 07
Has anyone seen these? My new 07 has a plastic pipe running from the intercooler up to the intake horn on the engine. Just wondering if it is something that has to go or if it will live with 45 psi?
