i just put a autometer phantom electronic fuel pressure guage in my truck and on my way home 2nite with the lights on (obviestly) it fogged up on me my other 2 guages which are the same ones have never fogged up.
Whats going on????

i have the same problem on my ultra lights on my 2nd gen...my boost gauge would fog up when it was real cold...i made sure this truck has isspros

 

yea its just one of those things that bother the heck out of me. ive never had it happon. well ill give it a couple days and if it dont get better then its goin back to autometer for a replacement.

 

common problem with autometers- they do not use anti fog solution on their gauges- found this out when i called a couple of years back with the same complaint. what you have to do is- buy the gauges from a retailer, then call autometer- they will have you send in the gauge and they will treat the gauge with anti fog crap and send back the gauge to you!! i also have various problems with their gauges- i have moved on to isspro preformax gauges

 

My ultra light gauges fog up every now and then but they usally clear up in a few minutes. You get used to it.

 

I've had my Autometer FP guage fog up on me when I hopped in the truck during a rainstorm. Went away and hasn't happened again.. Interesting about the anti-fog stuff.
