Check Engine Light?
hey guys i threw a p1740 code which is the o/d solenoid sensor on the valve body. this is the second time.i talked to HTS and they said it was a crystler part, and there known to go bad. any suggestions on why, what can i do. thanks

I once had a P1740 code thrown in my ole 2001 2500.
At 32,000 miles, the trans was completely shot and was removed from the truck and completely overhauled at the dealer.
Total price was $2200..........thankfully, I just paid $100 for the powertrain deductible.

George, if you replaced the sensor already and the check engine light came back on, could it be something in the trans causing this sensor to malfunction? Did HTS say that you would have to replace this sensor often?
