Auto Tranny Best Bang for the $$$
Having been a DTT customer for quite a few years (June 2004 originally, October & December 2006 and again in February of 2007) and recently switching to Western Performance Transmission out of Boise, Idaho - I can say without hesitation that I would highly recommend my new tranny shop!

[QUOTE=cquestad;1601775]I ment tranny's...and it is all the same...7k beats 2,3,4,5k anyday of the week...from any vendor.
I agree with that. I dont compete in anything but I bought the best I could. I have never regretted it. the last thing on my mind is if my tranny will break. Im worried about the rest of the truck is going to explode but not the tranny. it loves every minute of being on the floor and fogging streets

I have a 04 2500 on 35's pretty well stock except for intake,4" exh, and unknown programmer. I pull about 10-15,000lbs on a regular basis and upto 25,000lbs on occasion and I want to know what I should go with as far as mods for the transmission go. If a trailer aint hooked to it the pedal is usually on the floor dumpin' smoke everywhere. Im not trying to hi-jack this thread, I just dont want to open another one for the same questions.
Find a local DTT installer and talk to them. It will save you alot in shipping if you have a DTT installer build one for you. You will be pretty close to the price you are looking for.
I went with an HTS and I couldn't be happier. At least you know that it is put together correctly by the right person. Shipping wasn't too bad. You only pay one way. I can not see how someone would want to save a few dollars on shipping by buying the parts and then find someone else to assemble a tranny and then have an issue with it at a later date and have to go thru the hassle of getting it straightened out from the person who assembled it.
id go goerend, dave stands behind his products and offers great warranties with his products. have one sitting waiting to install. plus his customer service is amazing- he told me give him a call when im taking the truck for a test drive with the new tranny in and let him know how it feels and whatits doing. talk about great customer service.
