Auto Meter Gauges

Auto Meter Gauges
I just ordered 3 autometer ultra lite meters ( Pyro, trany temp and Boost) The pyro must be drilled and taped in the exhaust but I not sure about the other two gauges, Is there any thing else needed to make the installation of the boost and trans temp easier? I remenber reading about a replacment trans line with the fitting installed already. Any help would be helpfull.

I don't know about the trans temp, but you have two options for the boost gauge. You can drill and tap the silver intake section after the intercooler or you can get a boost bolt (I don't know who sells them) and you won't have to drill or tap. Sounds like a pretty easy installation to me.

Piers sells the boost bolt for installation of the boost gauge. You could also quiz them about the tranny sensor install.

Autometer sells a trans temp Manifold fitting that is used to mount the trans temp sensor between the trans to trans cooler line.
There are other places the sell a replacement line that goes from trans to trans cooler that has t-fitting for trans temp. I dont remember where exactly. If I find I will post.
Get the Piers boost bolt.

You can look at my pics as to how I installed my gauges. I got the trans line from www.massdiesel.com.
