Hey guys, just thought I'd post a recent experience I had with my Autometer 30psi fuel pressure gauge. Driving along one day and my fuel pressure dropped like a stone, gauge reading weird lots of pressure WOT, almost zero at idle. After changing fuel pumps three times with no improvement, I figured it might be the pressure send for my electric pressure gauge. I called around to the various auto parts stores looking for a replacement sender. No one had a listing for a 30lb gauge, only the 15 and 100lb gauges. So I called Autometer to see what one I needed, told the guy my problem and sure enough, he didn't have a listing either. He told me not to worry, he'd send me a new one, free, not even shipping. I doubted it, but gave him my address anyway. Sure enough 10 days later it showed up in the mail, exactly the same part that was on the truck. I threw it on yesterday and boom- problem solved, fuel pressure sits at 19 and stays there. I had it mounted right on the CP3 before, so i ran a hose from the tapped elbow to the sender I mounted on the fender. Too much vibration mounted on the engine. Anyway, if anyone has a 30lb autometer gauge and the sender is toast, just call autometer, they might just send you a new one for nothing.

Exact same thing here but my gauge was very irratic. They sent me one no questions asked!!! That's customer service if I've ever seen it!! They've fixed my boost guage and payed for everything, what a great company. People say they are too expensive. They are expensive because you pay for quality and customer service.... I ran into great service from Volant also....
