I need the speaker color codes for a 05 ram 2500 w/Infinity. anyone help me out. If you know what i am talking about what i need to do is just find the two rear specker wires and then i am goin to put a output convertor in to give me a rca output so i can run to a amp in the truck.. and if you know what a output convertor is should i hook it help at the cd player or at the amp I REALLY NEED a color codes to rear two speckers. THANKS ALOT

 

I can't be of any help with the wiring codes. However, you want to tie into the speaker wire closest to where you are mounting the amp. This way you have the shortest run of RCA cable. There is no difference between making the connection at the stereo or in the back seat. Do whichever is easier for your application.

Personally I would upgrade the head unit to one that has rca outputs built into it. You will get a higher output from the amp with the increased output that the head unit rca jacks have. Meaning that if you have 2 - 100w amps one running off a speaker level input and the other off a good head unit with rca's the one hooked up to the head unit directly will produce more power.

If u go with an after market head unit be sure to check and see if it has 4v pre outs or higher!!

 

You should hook up the concerter after the amp.
Keep in mind these were not correct for my 04, double check... and they are a pain in the .... to get to behind the glove box!
