attitude Question??

Does anyone know if "Backdown" is the same as de-fueling? Sometimes when I get on it on level 5 it seems to de-fuel. Has anyone else noticed this?

If I remember right backdown is the percentage of Juice/Attitude de-fueling caused by one of the MAX settings or because the engine is not at running temperature yet. If you want to see what it will do without defueling/backdown, turn off defueling for a few minutes.

I havn't messed with the factory alarm settings yet on the attitude, or the de-fueling setting. does anyone know how much is to much boost? The factory boost alarm is at 36 and I think the most I've seen is around 40.

I never saw over 40psi with the standard Juice/Attitude on the stock turbo. With stock tc/trans and turbo, I would just leave the default MAX settings. I think they were 36psi boost and 1350 EGT. You should not really exceed those much except on higher settings and WOT or maybe a good load. If you have stock tires then the Transmission setup will also defuel if it detects TC slippage. But once again you have to push it pretty hard on level 4 or 5 to make the TC slip at all. Some slippage is always going to show on the records screen, but mine seemed to be just normal stock TC operation and not really slipping. You can turn off all of the protection by hitting enter twice rapidly from the main screen, then use arrows to select minutes to turn off. I always turned off all protection at the drag strip.
