ATS Exhaust Manifold and Pyro

I was considering adding a ATS exhaust manifold when I install my pyro probe. Can I expect to see any performance improvements by adding the exhaust manifold?
Thanks in advance,
D

Putting the ATS manifold in makes it a snap when installing a pyro and it looks good when you pop the hood. I've noticed is it seems that the turbo spools alittle faster compared to a stock manifold, but that could be in my head. To take full advantage of an aftermarket manifold you would need to upgrade the turbo. But that costs even more money.

I ordered the ATS Manifold. I figure at some point in the future i will upgrade the turbo, but this will it for a while. A question for you. When you replaced your manifold did you replace the manifold gaskets? I have heard that they don't have to be replaced.

I was able to reuse the stock gaskets. It would probably be easier to remove the manifold and turbo as a unit and swap the manifold on the bench. There is one bolt on the turbo flang that took me an hour to get loose if you try replace the manifold without removing the turbo from the truck. Another thing is when you start bolting the manifold to the head start with the rear and work your way to the front.

I also reused the gaskets... no sign of leaks after a year. I did use a little RTV to make it easier, even though you're not supposed to.
