Hey I asked awhile back if a smoke switch could be put on a truck that has a smarty jr. The answers I got were that you could NOT put a smoke switch on a smarty jr truck. However, I was under the assumption that if a box did boost fooling (I believe the smarty does) then a smoke switch would work right????

 

The problem is......the Smarty just changes what the ECM will accept to see from the MAP sensor. A boost fooler will allow a smoke switch to show it it's max level. Without a fooler/ fueling box, the computer will see a direct short to voltage and defuel and set a code.
