Arp Studs

I'm sure this is on here somewhere, so maybe someone can direct me to the link. What part number studs, and where is the install link? I heard there was a certain ARP part thats pulling the threads on the cummins.

ARP 247-4202 for the ARP 2000 material or 247-4204 for the ARP 625+ material.

is it true that arp studs (not the 625 ones) are one time use only and if so way?

I reused mine multiple times and had zero problems. On this last buildup I went with 14mm studs and sold my old 12's to someone else and they are holding fine for them as well. I think as long as you do your re-torques before any serious abuse they will be fine. Just my $.02.

I was told the 625s was pulling threads from the block. Also is there a install thread on here?

If you're looking for the sequence, here it is...change one at a time..torque 1st time 55 ft/lbs...2nd time 95 (??)... 125 ft/lbs., once all are done, go around at least once more. Make sure you buy extra moly lube or arp's lube, by using that lube you're torquing is correct/true, shouldn't use oil for lube, it's not a true torque, sounds weird but true....

I used the search above and found all this info. when I did mine ..............

mpracehemi, thanks for the info, I was wondering if any of the studs went into the water jackets, or if they where all blind holes.

When I did mine, I did not see any water residue. You will smell an odor like burnt oil when you pull the stock bolts...so with that info. I would say no water jacket penetration- 'all blind holes'

If you have any more ??, just ask....glad to help out. Shane helped me on my mods via phone.
