Anyones quadzilla LP gauge read erratically?

sometimes my quad lp gauge will read a constant 14-17 psi because i have a FASS fuel system. but after a while of driving or city driving it reads between 0-9 psi. what is this? do i need a new transducer/sender and if so where do i get them?

If this is the gauge that has both rail and fuel pressure I'm surprised its lasted long at all.

I went through 4 of them! I'd no more than get it installed and it would die within a few hours. I finally cut my losses and didn't try to get any fix or another gauge after the last one died.

I will say that Quad and his guys were always very helpful and would exchange them without trouble. It would've been a great gauge if it worked!

Did you have problems with their latest version? I've read the early ones were plaguedwith problems.

I've had mine about 9 months now with no problems.

Did you purge all the air out when you installed it? You may have an air bubble that is giving you the stray reading.

Hey bud. I have a bunch of the older sending units. Let me know if you need them. They are new and you can have them. I have 2 - 30 psi ones and 2 - 100 psi ones..

No, mine were all the older versions. I never went back.

I'd also like to apologize, I posted all that stuff and never in the least helped the original poster. Not cool.

They worked with the quad recon and my Commander. I upgraded to the new transducer. I don't want anything for them. They are sitting here collecting dust my friend. I will send you the 0-30 and a 0-100 just incase. PM me your full name and address.

mine will go from reading 20-30 all the way down to 0-9 no matter what i am doing sitting driving city or highway. i used to be able to mess with the ground wire on it cause it is inline and that would fix it but not i can't get it to work right. but also my comander just flashes the fuel press as if it is too low. i can't get it to go back to normal with the other three readings. and the none of the buttons work anymore. looks like its time for regular gauges. does anyone run the new black comander? how long have you had it? how does it seem to work?

Thanks,
Eric

I don't think it will work, you would have to call Quad for that answer. I will mail them out tomorrow for ya. If they work, buy me a coffee sometime....
