anyone running these on a 3rd gen? i've been considering black steel rockcrawler wheels in a 17x8. anyone got pics?? no particular reason other than they're cheap and strong.

 

I have a friend that is running them on his 05 2500 that he uses on his farm. They look pretty good with 35's on them. They stick out past the fender wells about an inch or so. But, the only time I have seen them clean was when he first put them on.

 

Used them only for our rockcrawlers. They are NOT the wheel you want, regardless how attractive the price is, for your daily driver.

 

please explain what you mean..... i have had the steel rock crawlers on several vehicles and have never seen any adverse effects. why would they not be the wheel to use for a daily driver? all my other vehicles were daily drivers so i'm curious why you say this..

Hard to balance, rust easy, cheaply made, not very easy on the eyes. All of this is from personal experience/ personal opinion. I'm talking about the $40 ones.
