Starting to look at different Modules/Programmers, I'm curious of everyones opinion on the other Modules/Programmers available.

 

Everyone raves about smarty by mad electronics!! I think thats what I'm getting, but the hypertech looks real impressive on there web site.(dynos). I havent heard anyone on here talk about them. They are 1/2 the price of a smarty!

 

Thanks for having the sympathy to respond to my post, it's obvious the other guys don't want to play with me...It's okay though, I'm going to tell their moms on them.

Seriously, the Hypertech is only $299, but they only list 2005 and older and I know you get what you pay for to a degree, but it looks like they started at $500 plus. Is there a reason why everyone goes with the others? Is it a stacking issue? I'm not looking to go to that extreme, just want a pick me up, if you know what I mean.

 

Thats what I said 4 trucks and $6,000 ago (buying different power adders). If you want a programmer get a smarty, be done with it. This is an addiction. It will not go away once you start and it is hard to control. Trust me. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

 

Spoke with Hypertech on Monday and they said they will be releasing the programmer for the 06 and up first of July. My Ford buddies have run the Hypertech in the Powerstrokes and have had good luck. From what I hear, good customer service and you can tow (even though reduced gvwr) in the extreme power level. I am still undecided on a programmer between Smarty, Diablo predator, and Hypertech??????
