Anyone running Dynomite Diesel Injectors?

Hey, I just sent off my injectors today cause I couldn't pass up Dynomite's $300/set sale. So I was wondering what I should expect with the mods listed in my sig. I know honed injectors don't like pressure very much, so I don't intend to run the BDPP on extreme. But with the Edge on Lev.5/BDPP on Lev.2 I should be right at the power level i was with the stock injectors when I had the boxes on 5/3. Am I good in thinking this? Anything you guys can think of I may not know about would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

I noticed my truck ran a bunch smoother at any rpm. My cold starts were much less smokey and of course it was way quicker. I just put in the Rokkteck sensor and it runs even smoother and makes a bit more power. plus the little bit of injector knock I had from the quad box is gone now.

Thanks Syndicate. I hope there are some more people who can give me some 1st hand knowledge about the performance of these injectors. It seems everybody on here wants to steer you to a specific brand or type and say they are the best, but when you ask for 1st hand experience they all turn mute. I bet if my title read something like "Thinking of buying injectors, who's are best" people would jump all over it. By the way, what type of egt's are you seeing. Before/after injector install?

Syndicate. You notice any mileage gains with the injector work you had done? I see you have a smoother running truck. I think my injectors are getting a little dirty. Thinking about heading up to Monroe and getting a little work done.

Ive changed my tires and not corrected my speedo as they were only slightly taller so I have not bothered tryin to figure out milage. It is a great mod. Very good bang for the buck and you end up with a better running truck overall. Plus they are a great bunch at DDP.

Hey Muck. if you want them, you better hurry cause at the end of the month the price goes up the their normal of $750-$950 a set.

Monroe, how do you like that Super B turbo. I'll be looking to upgrade after I get my injectors and send off the Juice to get the "HOT" upgrade. When I do this, I'll be able to ditch the BDPP, and still get in the neighborhood of 475-500hp. Right now, on stock injectors and turbo with both boxes turned up I'm right at 425-440hp.

streetsmoker do you have any fuel system on your 03? I have an 05 with the same stack you have edge and bully dog and I can starve my cp3 for fuel. I only put down 357 hp with them both stacked I was running so low on fuel.

No Kman I don't have an upgraded fuel system yet. I do have a slight starvation problem when both boxes are turned up but only during normal driving. Under full acceleration, I don't have any at all. I am in the process however of putting in a Walbro retrofit so I don't have to worry about this at all. I dyno'd with just the BDPP back in Sept. when I still had the stock tranny and no intake improvements and the #'s were 367hp/734tq. stock it was 264/490. I know I'm in the neighborhood of 425-440, cause when I had the BDPP the best times I coud pull in the 1/4mi. were 14.9 after adding the Edge, and building the tranny I consistantly pull down 13.7-14.1's. So if you do the standard of 20hp/10th sec. deducting a few hp as error factor puts me just right.

Finished installing mine yesterday. First impressions were very positive. Smooth power throughout. I opted for the 50hp but sure seems more

Kanab what kind of pusher pump are you running? Are you only using the race box and injectors? What is the Quad Race Bow rated at? My 70hp set of DDP injectors should be installed Monday and I'll post a test drive report once they are in. I'm sure they will meet all my expectations.

<<Pusher pump>> I was running Piers' which is basically a Carter. That lasted about 40k miles. Now running a Holley Blue.

Yes, I'm only running the race box and injectors currently. The box has three settings (60, 100 and 130hp). I haven't run the truck on the race setting (130hp) yet since I installed the injectors (only city traffic). But the truck seems to pull a lot harder on the 100hp setting w/injectors, than it ever did on the 130hp w/o injectors. Ross at DDP said the injectors should combine well with Quad's box.

So I take it you haven't been able to do a WOT run yet?
