Question Anyone made a Bi-Xenon Kit yet for '06s ?

I know that you can find Bi-Xenon balasts and bulbs, but has anyone made a complete housing replacement for our trucks? If I just put the bulb in my '06 housing will it still work or will the light not be focused forward ?

Also, does anyone know what bulb our foglights use (the '06s) ? My truck is still being worked on so I canot go out and check.

You could always do what I did. I bought the HID kit with 9007 bulbs and an extra set of H1 bulbs to fit the projector housings when I could afford them. I'm glad I did because the projector housings came down $150 in price since then. In your case your just waiting until the 06 housings become avaiable.

I searched ebay for 06 projector housings and nothing came up. I'd give it another 6 months to a year

The HID bulbs do just fine in the stock housings. Its much improved over stock and it seems to throw the light straight. I havent had anybody flash me yet.

Here's a pic of mine

The 06's don't take 9007's. They either take a H13 or a 9008, but i think that they are the same thing.

Thanks for the heads-up! That would have been a painful mistake. You are sure they are 9008s ?

Yep, boarbuster is right, this is from the Lamp Replacement Guide from the sylvania website:

"2006 DODGE Ram Pickup

High & low beam headlamp
H13 (9008)
H13ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: The Whiter and Brighter Halogen
H13XV XtraVision Halogen Upgrade: Up to 20% Brighter"

Hope this helps.

The owner's manual lists a 9006LL bulb for the fog lamps.

Wiggs - I was just about to get into my lighting as well so thanks for asking about it again.

Re: the OEM fogs I went with the PIAA replacements (model 540) and it is performing very well and they integrates seamlessly with the factory switch.

No problem.

I love the 540's; I have them on my H2 in the Road Armor. I think I will get a set of those (or the 600 H.I.D.'s) along with the 9008 Bi-Xenons ! I can't wait to see them in my new smoked lens housing!

EDIT: I just ordered the Bi-Xenon 9008s ! I will have them Monday!
