Well its delay'd till sometime in May..I cant wait to get somethin on my 06. Anyone beta test it?? Reviews?

 

Last I heard is that the Beta units aren't even out yet. Something about a delay on one of the connectors. I know a guy with a nice '06 who's been waiting patiently for his beta unit to arrive.

 

I talked to a girl at Edge today and she said its past beta testing already and should be out in mid May. I was trying to get them in on letting me beta test it. I did with bullydog.

 

beta is here now......... Info in a few weeks.

 

I just put the juice w/ attitude on my 06.
on 4-7-06. Iam verry impressed with my truck stock, But the juice for the 06 is well worth the money.Iam seeing 42 lbs boost, I also seen a 2.0 M P G increase. ( 13-15+)
stage 5 bad _ _ _ !!!!!! they also have a hot code. the chip is already programmed, you just need to call edge and get the unlock code. stage 6 160 HP 350 lb ft torque. WOW!!!!! Hope the tranny holds. I ran my first 0-60. 7.6 not bad for a crew cab 4x4 long bed.

 

I too have been patietently waiting since dec. ,when they said it should be out in march/april?? I guess i would rather have them tested and proven before i spend the money on one than to have it a month early. I hope they are out in the next week or two, i could use some extra ponies as i am starting to pull alot again. Put the edge/juice on my wifes f-150 and it is sweet, really woke it up. Can't wait!!!

Wont be too much longer before the Smarty is out for the '06, it leaves no traces, do you guys really want to smoke your warranties on brand new trucks. I've heard the DC is looking for the power boxes or traces of them in their zeal to cancel warranty's. I had the edge on my '05 gonna go with the smarty this time

 

please elaborate...never heard of the Smarty Box

Correct me if I am wrong but an outboard box that takes the outbound signal from the PCM won't leave any trace of it's being there either.

I am also waiting for the edge and it will be the end of the month I was told from a reliable source. So my question is DC has a way to tell I had an Edge and not a Smarty?? Thanks Rob

 

I will wait as i did that with my 03 ford i had, bought a diablo predator programmer, cuz the edge wasn't out yet, and it was junk, and then once the edge came out i wanted that anyways. I can wait a bit longer, hopefully not to long!

 

well, i hope you are right, but people are just now getting their beta test units...

 

"In a few months" should be the Edge companies advertising jingle.

 

So Ill ask the question again.. DC will be able to tell I had a Edge on my truck and void my warranty but if I buy a Smarty they wont be able to????
