does anyone have a write up on how to do this install and tools needed?

 

I installed the KC09103 Daystar (1 1/2") spacers in my 05 3500 2wdr this past summer, and the kit helped level the truck out nicely.
The install was quite simple:
Put jackstands under the front frame and pull the wheels so the front rotors can just hang.........then undo the sway bar links from the lower control arms and remove the shocks.
Next put a floor jack under the lower control arm and remove the 2 bolts that the lower control arm pivots on(they go through the bushings) and then let the jack down slowly.....and the lower control arm should pivot on the lower ball joint. Pull the spring out and put the daystar spacer on top of it.
Note the bottom of the spring sits in the lower control arm a certain way.......jack the lower control arm back into place..........may have to use an alignment bar to line the bolt holes back up.
Have the alignment checked after.

 

That should do it! Rockcrawler and I installed them on our trucks without removing the A-arm but it would have been easier if we had removed them.

2 years 50,000 miles frequently pulling a 10,000lb trailer and no issues!
