Question Another Smarty question

Is the Smarty Jr. software upgradeable like the original Smarty, the only difference being ten program options versus 3? Also is the Smarty the best for improving throttle response, stock the diesel has a serious lag in response. I like the Smarty but I'm hesitant to spend the money without seeing/trying it first.

The way Smarty Jr.'s are selling, there should be one in your area to try soon. Post again in a couple of weeks and ask someone for a demo.

I suppose it will be. Right now the JR is new, but I imagine as there are new flashes for it they will be upgradeable. For regular smarty, on wild TM, throttle response can be downright touchy! On mod TM, throttle response is right where I like it and is very good. Smarty is known for its low end power.

Smarty Jr. is upgradeable (USB port). It will remove the lag and have a nice, linear throttle.

Take Chris up on his offer, but only if you're able to buy a Smarty (Jr.) the same day. You will like it that much.

Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately I can't do it till next year, vacation in a sunny place is calling me. Does any know if the 3 programs levels are exact duplicates of Smarty Sr. levels and are they the latest of the Beta versions. I guess I'm a non-smoker in the diesel crowd and the betas sound like what I would use, though there a few people that deserve a good puff in the face. To bad it's not on the fly switchable. I probably should contact Bob Wagner or Marco with my multiple questions, what's the easiest way to get ahold of them?

Give me time, I'll think of more. Is the best way to contact you by PM?

Yep, another question. Does Smarty work with the Quadzilla Commander safety features? I.E. will the Commander still defuel if the safe levels on the Commander are exceeded, after the Smarty is uploaded? Are they same levels as before if it still works?
