another 22.5 wheel question
another 22.5 wheel question
to run the 22.5 with a mud and snow tire how much lift will i need right how i have a 2" lift in the rear and 2" in the front i see that alot of guys are running 6"lifts but do i really need a lift that tall or can i get a way with running a 4"lift with out any rubbing?
you dont need to lift but you may rub. At least my truck did so I added a leveling kit. Others have gotten away with no lift, but to be safe you may want to save up for a leveling kit. JMO.
yeah i already have a 2in llift in the truck. but y dont tho's tires rub? A buddy of mine has 37 x13.5 on his truck and has a 6" lift and he had to to trim the front bumber or was that more because of width?
Yes it was the width more than likely on your buddy's truck. The 22.5s don't rub because of the adaptors and wheel offsets. Plus the tires aren't that wide either. I have never had mine to rub with the leveling kit. You will be fine with a 255/70.
