AirDog 150 stupid loud

I just got done with my airdog 150 install using HDRs Canister mod. The canister mod was super easy and when I went to get fuel the low fuel light came on and the truck never had a problem the entire 5 miles to the gas station. But my problem is the Airdog is retarded loud and it sounds like it surges and what what. The fuel delivery is great deffinstly feel the smoother power down low. Drove it about 150 miles today and it didnt quiet down at all. Im not sure whats going on. But it is annoyingly loud. Any help/ ideas. Thanks

yeah, mine is louder than i thought it would be, but mine's not horrible...really just notice it when i start the truck, program smarty or am drivng slow w/o radio on.....did you read the trouble shooting section in the rear of the install manual? Make sure there's no air leak..think it'll make it louder if you have on.

I can barely hear mine after the truck starts up and idles.

When it is priming it 'hummms', but I would not even say it is loud

Yeah I agree I would check for any leaks. It will be considerably louder than stock.

Any of the pumps including the stock one when relocated to the frame rail are noisy as heck.
Rubber mounts or some type of vibration isolator is the only way to get rid of the noise.

You have an air leak on the suction side. It won't be visibly seen. Make sure you put thread sealer on the pump fitting and the drawstraw fitting.

Enlighten me on one that isn't please.
I have several customers who are interested in stealth and not loud trucks for certain reasons. If I could provide them a system thats extremely quiet to begin with, that would be a great benifit.
I will gladly put one on my truck also, so that I can demo them for others.

I don't have any isolation on my AD 100, stock exhaust and intake, and I couldn't hear it even before I installed Dynamat.

Mounting must be solid, connections must be tight. it's usually that simple.
