airdog install

Im going to be istalling an airdog 150 on my 03.ive heard that the truck runs out of fuel at a quarter tank is there any mod besides a fuel sump kit to fix this proplem.Any pointers to make my install simpler would be nice to.

Leave the tank on the truck and remove the bed!!!!!! If you do that you will never encouter a no fuel situation. The reason folks have the 1/4 tank problem is because most of them removed the tank and set on the ground to measure for the draw straw. If you notice the bottom of the tank is not completely flat. If you take your measurement with it sitting on the ground and then install the pump setup the straw will be too short.....1/4 tank problem!!!

Wish I would have looked at this earlier I have already dropped the the tank.guess I need to raise it up with the front end loader and then measure.thanks for Ur help jhenson

Once you get it measured, cut the straw at an angle!!!! This will lesson the chance of something getting sucked up to the straw and preventing fuel flow.....should anything ever happen to get that far. Should have posted this earlier....sorry.

I dropped my tank and measured my
straw on the ground with no 1/4 tank issues. Just be careful, don't cut your straw short!
