I just installed one of these on my truck. I didn't like how the filters hang under the frame rail with the airdog brackets, so I fabed up my own bracket. I mounted it on the cross memeber, between the front of the tank and the transfer case. The only down fall to installing it there is now I have to take my skid plate off to change the filter. But I figured that is only once a year at most anyways.

I do have some pictures but there on my friends camera. I will get them for you and post them up.

If you order it with the Raptor mounting bracket it will sit parallel to the fram rather than perpendicular to it.
Mine's a long box just behind the skid plate but I think it would fit here on a short box?

Hey QUALMQ I mounted it just like yours today. I was wondering if you have pics of the lines hooked up. I think im going to have to get some more 90s to make it all hook up because now it is facing the other way. Let me know what you think thanks again.

That is the same bracket that came with my airdog. But I didn't like how the filters hung below the frame. That is why I made mine sit above the skid plate, so I will not have to worry about it.

This is the only one I have of the lines hooked up. I did have to pick up an extra 90. Luckly we were doing two airdog installs that day and my friend had an extra one in his kit.

It's less than an inch below the frame and that's only the filter, plus it's protected by my skid plate so it's pretty safe there I think...
... plus 2 of the 3 outlets are pointing the right direction.

I had a friend hold up the pump/filters and I thought it stuck out like a sore thumb, but I also have a 6" lift.

I am not knocking your install, I hope your not taking it that way.

No, it's all good, higher is better I know.
I put some scrap pieces of metal above the frame to keep the upper mounting bolts as high as possible, I hate stuff hanging lower than the frame.

I put the bracket on loosely in front of the tank, then slid it back...
