Air Intake
Air Intake
I am thinking about modifying my air intake. I was wondering if a drop in afe filter (if they make one) and a torque tube would give me the same performance as a stage 2 air intake. If not how much of a difference do you think it makes. I have also heard that you can remove some baffles from the stock tube is this correct? thanks for the help. O and does anyone run the cold air intake setup that uses the factory box?
Airaid makes a intake system that uses the factory box. it snaps into place where the lid snaps in. i took the baffles out of my tube. one end of the tube, the lip is and tube is glued together, i took a screwdriver and pryed apart the two. slide the baffles out and the glue them back together.
Doubleover,
Before you buy those items seperately look at the AFE SUper Stock systems. They include the filter (standard or Pro Guard 7) and the Torque Tube as a systems and it saves you some money etc. It's a great mod for someone that isn't planning major mods and doesn't want a full intake system.
