The FASS used bigger filters so it would hang down more I think.
And I'll stick with Airdog...
Its quieter, lifetime warranty, more up to date, and I agree I like the filters high up (since I have a 2wd). I have also seen Charlie and Airdog strive to make changes to satisfy the customer, they seem more concerned on making their product better for us. I haven't seen a major revision done on Fass to reduce noise, and I know it can be done.
So I'll stick to the company who tries to bring satisfaction the most.

question for you MITUSA guys. Can you mount that thing up on the top side of the motor? I do go offroad and the last thing I need is mud to get up in there and throw a belt and do damage to the pump or pulley.
Opie makes a bracket to mount it up top but its only for Dual CP3's!! You could get crafty and build a shield for it!!
ok this is a new one on me what are the pros and cons of MITUSA I do have the FASS have not had any problems and i dont mind the noise of the pump because my radio drowns it out LOL...... I know this if off the topic but i havent seen any pros and cons on this kind of pump in this thread
Pumps
I believe it's a personal decision, mechanical or electrical. I'm sure someone else may have some other pros and cons to add. On a side note I think both systems are good.
Mechanical pros:
Extreme pump longevity.
Mechanical lift pump increase output and pressure to match engine RPM.
Zero noise.
Cons: Can't (that I know of) be used with Fluidampr brand balancers.
Electrical pros:
High pressure / fuel filtration system in compact package.
Easier to install.
Cons:Noise and ordering filters.
