The rear spring pack...

I have Thuren's add a pack that replaces the thick bottom leaf...and "livens" up the axle travel quite a bit.

Deaver is a spring manufacturer specializing in offroad suspensions.

They are traction bars, not a track bar.

Traction bars run longitudinally and are used to minimize axle wrap.

A track bar runs transversely and locates the axle under the truck. It's used to keep the axle from moving side to side with coil sprung suspensions.

my biggest obstacle is that I run the full Deaver leaf springs w/King 12'' travel shocks. This combo allows for quite a bit more axle droop than stock springs do which could result in ripping the bags out. But, to be honest, I have never used this truck to its full potential and probably never will so the likelihood of over extending the bags is highly unlikely. I should probably run a limit strap just to be safe though.

I am not sure how the LT bags are made...but you "can't" rip out a Firestone. I hope the are that tough! I tried...and could not do it.

I'm not going to make any decisions until I see the long travel bags. But, can I get some opinions on Air Lift air bags versus Firestone.

Airlift is made by Firestone. Here are a couple of pics of the long travel air bag set up to give you an idea of what they look like. This is Bob's truck on the rack at full droop using 10" travel shocks.

WOW! Very nice looking setup. Am I wrong or does the exhaust need to be altered for the right side bag?

Bob had a prototype aftermarket exhaust on there but the stock exhaust will work. With some of the aftermarket exhaust systems out there, some modifications may be neccesary. There is also a heat shield that will be included with this setup.

Those look pretty sweet.

Any pics of them at normal ride height? I'm wondering if they can really compress 10" from the position shown?
