Aftermarket Wheels
Aftermarket Wheels
I'm FINALLY searching for aftermarket wheels for my '03 CTD. Just looking for some advice. I've looked at Pro-Comps, Weld, MKW, etc.. just looking for some fit advice and maybe some pictures so I can see a few rides with different wheels on them.
Thanks!

What wheels?
I have an '04 3500 DRW and there are no wheels that I have seen. I really want proper ALCOA dually wheels, but they only offer them for the 16" application, 2000-2002. I talked to an ALCOA rep 6 mos ago and he stated that there would be a 22" wheel offered soon, but it still isn't on their website. I have seen modified Hummer wheels, but I want a solid wheel, so if anyone out there has a solution, please let us know.

This site has a link to a size guide if you tell it what is stock and what kind of truck you can try all different sizes and backspacing to get what fits. This is the first truck I used this site for fitment and this is the first truck I did not have to cut on!!!

Cool site but they don't seem to have much that fits. I do like the Moto Metal 950s though. I just bought a new set of BFG 315's which are 17" so I think I want to stay with the 17" wheel. According to this site, the 17x8 and 17x9 with 0 offset will fit. That being said will any 17x8 or 17x9 with a 0 offset and a 8x6.5 bolt pattern fit as long as the center is large enough for the hub?

No, not all 17x8 or 17x9 wheels fit the newer rams. I would recommed find a wheel that you like and then call the manufacture to confirm if they will fit your truck prior to purchasing. I have read several posts where guys buy 17x8 or 17x9 (8x6.5) and come to find out they either still rub the brakes or the center hole is not large enough........

I was looking at the USA6x6 site today and they make some pretty nice looking wheels that you can customize the center pattern. They will make them up to 7" backspacing and any size center hole you might want. Their prices for custom wheels seem reasonable.

Good luck,
I think I may have it narrowed down to the Moto Metal 950 wheel. Here is a link with the info. http://www.bestbuywheels.com/images/moto/950.gif
