I think Frontier makes a nice looking bumper. It also allows you to keep and continue using your stock receiver hitch.

I'm glad I'm not the only big dummy that backed into something(not that your a dummy Madhat), but I backed into a telephone pole last week..GRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Boy was I pis-ticked off and feeling like a dork. I'm pulling my receiver and installing a Ranch Hand painted white to match my sport 2500. I'm told w/ additional bracing from the frame to bumper I can tow anything I just can't use those leveling bars for my trailer. ANyone think this is a bad idea?

Well I pull a fairly heavy bumper pull (12K lbs) and the leveling bars are a good deal. I would hate to eliminate that capability for future use. My .02

these crazy beaufort people just goin around cuttin off trees without telling anybody....well when i finish MOD mode, and enter fab/looks mode, I have plans on Road Armor front and rear with brush guard in front and corner guards in the back, but if you just want somethin tough, Fab fours, ThrottleDownCustoms, Alien Patrol, Iron Bull, those are all the basic steel angular designs. but, I think your truck would look good with a OE sport bumper painted to match, or the TDK's are diamond plate like your toolboxes.
....PS I talked to John and im gettin my 3600lb Plate Load DD and FASS installed next paycheck. Then well be ready to line'em up and compare "man pills" as you put it.
SEMPER.

I'm using the Fab Four because it retains the factory receiver.

I too love the way the frontier looks, BUT it doesnt have much structure behind it...

I have a T3 on the back of mine right now, but thats because it was cheap...

If you even intend to haul something heavy(er) later, id try to keep one that retains the stock hitch, so you can either upgrade to a class V hitch later, or still tow more than the bumper will allow...

Alien Patrol -There are many people companies in Litigation w/ Alien Patrol. 1st hand experience, does not get things done like promised. My 2-3day rush order took 6 weeks. I canceled after 3rd week and bumper was still shipped even with the written cancellation and phone cancellation.

TDK makes some awesome stuff, good quality.

Fab Fours is just awesome, I am now running one of their fronts with Pre-Runner Bar, it replaced my front Road Armor.

Also, Fusion is a pretty new company to the bumper scene. I have not seen their stuff first hand, just through pictures and Web site. Stuff looks nice and their back bumpers aren't gaudy at all...

They're not the best looking IMO, but probably the most functional and strongest available would be those by Reunel. There's no need to upgrade hitches with these either...the hitch built into the bumper is rated at 20,000 lb pull and 6,000 lb tongue weight!!!
