I'm looking at the AEM work horse intake for my truck, so far it is completely stock other than my leveling kit and spring pack in the rear (basically 2" lift). I'm lookinig to get a little bit more economy (MPGs) but I don't want to start voiding warranty and making lots of noise either. This kit looks to be a quality intake and I was wondering if any one has any input on it?

 

So....no one has this intake or has seen/read anything about it?

 

me and many more are running the brute force. Love it and really want the workhorse.............. but, If u dont want noise intake is not the way to go. And it prob wont help mpg but so much. U can buy it though and I'll trade u the brute force if it's too loud

Noise isn't bad if you haven't removed the silencer ring.

 

I like mine. Turbo is louder for sure, but not obnoxiously so. Install went pretty smooth and the polished tube has a nice finish to it.

 

I have the Brute force, and I love it! But if you dont like to hear turbo whine, and lots of it, this isn't the intake you want.
