Should my AEM Intake sucked my filter gauge down in two days? If it shouldnt what could be the promblem? Thanks in advance for the help.

 

The gauge really isn't acuarate once you move it from where it mounts on the stock air box.the distance fron the filter will make it show that it is restricted but it really isn't.I just make sure mine doesn't go in the red but just clean your filter by your milelge or how dirty it is.

 

But mine is sucked down into the red in two days and I just cleaned my filter
a week ago.

 

That's been a common complaint with the AEM's. Mine was sucked down too, I just leave it. Since it is an open element you can look at it and tell if it's getting dirty enough to need cleaning. The stock airbox is closed and you have to open it to see the filter, which is where the filter minder comes in handy. Just don't worry about it.
