aem brute force

does anyone besides aem make a dry reusable filter?

so are they any good, is their intake system any good

should i use the aem with another sytems cold air intake

what are their downsides,

oiling can also be a problem for your turbos can't it?

I don't like the rest of the system. It is too loud and the thin metal tubing gets very hot to the touch. So I would assume that the air inside get heated as well. The filter itself is great I use mine in the S&B Setup.
The Fram Boost system is the AEM. I gave away my AEM after I won the Fram system. The filter can be purchased for around 45 bucks. Of course you would have to get a cleaning kit for down the road. Take a look at my truck gallery for some pictures.

installed my bruteforce couple of weeks ago and i love it. took my ford buddy for a ride today and he loved the sound. they do make the turbo sound like ur about to take off. love it. very pleased.

fram makes a dry setup also that just came out, and its priced very nice.....i plan on calling them today to see if i can get a deal on it since i am a honeywell employee.

looks alot like the aem setup

anyone have experience with the fram yet?

The Fram setup IS the AEM setup. One and the same, according to several members of this site. I wouldn't soil my truck with a FRAM labeled product, even if it IS a better brand, relabeled.

amsoil now sells a dry filter that uses donaldson nanofiber media...

Fram is all marketing hype. Heard about alot of problems with their oil filters.

For those who thought the AEM Bruteforce's intake tube gets to hot... I agree. So I wrapped the whole thing with exhaust header wrap, then wrapped that with aluminized reflective duct tape. I think that did the trik...
