Have owned a 235 hp 445 ft/lb standard output since new. Was thinking about adding a predator. Making 100 hp more and adding 200 in torque would bring the numbers up to the newer ctd. My thinking is that the added power should not tax the drive train any more than the newer trucks. Was wondering what you all thought.

 

I'd say go for it.

I run the Predator/Puck combination on my 03 & it is great...

Your transmission should be OK with around 100 additional HP as long as you don't hot rod it after the new famed power...
