There must be something in the air because since the minivan there have been three more takers in less than 24 hrs. A small suv, Toyota or Honda, a BMW this morning, and some little four door compact this afternoon. The last two pull up even at a light and just act cocky, like pulling halfway out into the intersection before the changes. The BMW was especially fun because he totally didn't expect it. We at a light this morning that was at the bottom of hill. It is at least a 10% grade, about 1/4 mile straight up. So I hit it and as I'm nearing the top I have to move over into his lane to go around another car, and I had enough room to do so. I think he might be trading in that car today.

I think I'm gonna have to up the Smarty from #2. #6 was Pretty good the first time around.

My favorite victims are the guys with the "fast and furious" 5" tips that think they are quick, but end up looking at the back end of a set of dual tires half a block away.

Something to think about. If its a ricer and has a 5" fart can, is it also rice to have 7" stacks on a pickup?

Just thinkin' out loud.

Thanks to some of you for making fun of my pain. I forgot to add in the part that I was on a first date with a girl and I was trying to show my a$$ for her. I think that was the most embarassing part of it all.

well now days i think most hot rodders are looking twice at the diesels, i mean there are guys running in the 9s up at the raceway in sacramento and thats no 1/8 mile time and there is a 7 sec dakota in the works also, the only thing that will limit us in power is your wallet or wife and the goverment via epa.

it is very addicting. had some guy driving like an idiot yesterday in his toyota tacoma. jetting in and out of each lane to try and get around everyone. finally gets up to me and rides my bumper, so naturally i slow down to about half the speed limit just by downshifting, then he tries to go around me, so i spool it up a bit just to close the door. he gets behind me again (slow learner i guess), does the same thing, only this time he rev's it up as he tries to go around me... still not happening for him. at the next light i leave him about 10 cars behind me, then slow down. by now he has learned to stay back, follows for about 1/2 mile, then turns... down a dead end street... must have scared him.

I ran one of those before I put my silver bullet on. I got the jump on him and we hung even for a second, then he passed me. I want to find one again now that I have the bigger charger and see what happens...

Funny same thing for me. My 3rd gear pulls like mad, and 4th is pretty decent.

While I do see your point, even 1000lb-ft of torque doesnt come close to needing twin 7" stacks. Its always been my opinion that if something isnt functional and looks way out of place, thats pretty much rice. JMO.

Why these CTD on CTD crimes?! I thought that we were all at some sort of agreement with each other...while out and about, we just admire each other's trucks...well, that is unless one just decides to get froggy for no reason...now Fords and Chevys...it's just a daily standard to not let them pass (or at least try your best until something either breaks...or there is just no hope, such as say my truck and an EFI live Duramax)

LOL!

Here's the scenario: Driving down a 4 lane rd (2 each side) with a giant median, outside of town in a 55mph zone. Absolutely no traffic, and two modded Mega Cabs driving side-by-side. Both slow down a little to about 50mph and intentions are clear...

You telling me you ain't gonna race him when he looks over and punches it???

you mean the guys with the folgers or maxwellhouse performance exhaust!

i had some chick tailgating the heck out of me to where all i could see what the roof of her car and we were doing 75 mph. so i turned up the edge and mashed the petal smoke rolled out of my dual exhaust. lets just say this she stayed about 10 car lenghts behind me after that.

Was getting on the highway the other night, two lanes go through a light and both turn left to then go straight to the on ramp. Some hot shot in a black, new Z71 starts revving his dual exhaust. He had rims, mucis bumping, etc. I take the outside turn, so he already has 1-2 car lengths on me. I punch it, he trys to floor it. By the time I hit the ramp (50-60 yards) I am at least 5 lengths in front of him. Smoke is everywhere and he is way behind me. He immediately exits the highway at the next exit. Not sure if he was just upset that his truck sucks or if he was really heading somewhere.

Well, if he gets froggy, then you just HAVE to try it...ask ol' Rick (Runamuk)...we were coming back from the Redding event and I was DOG tired, so I let my wife drive...couple youngsters in a 03-05 quad cab on the highway leaving from the same event kept on speeing up/blowing some smoke/revving and then slowing down and doing it again and again until i finally got fed up and turned the boxes up and told Heather (my wife) to give them what they wanted...so from about 65mph, we let em eat soot until we hit 100mph, backed out and gave it to them again...they got back up next to us eventually, laughing HYSTERICALLY, gave us the thumbs up and slowed back down to semi-legal speeds...good times I say! But for the most part, I just prefer to look at ya'lls purty trucks!
