Acetone In Fuel Said to Increase Mileage

Has anyone tried this? A guy I know said he actually got about a hundred more miles a tank. He doesnt have a diesel though.. What do you guys think?

Ive heard that it works great for gas engines. Its not very economical cause you dont really make up in MPG for the amount of acetone you have to buy. I really dont think it would be wise in a diesel. but im no expert

man i wouldn't try that stuff it can be harmful to internal partsgas is not ment to lubercate so it doesn't harm gas motors .i might put a few additves that are up to parr with diesels.

It's been done and tried by many people that see the idea on a message board. I have yet to see one person say they've increased milage (including myself).
