How about it is there some way to erase them with out buying a reader/scanner?

i think if you disconnect both batteries for a few minutes they should clear? could be wrong but it usually does when i'm workin on mine.

Cycle the key on/off 3 times and it should clear it. Don't actually start the truck 3 times, just cycle it on/off.

But if you got a major issue it's just going to pop right back on.
