Call me if you need help next time... especially if you consider me standing around drinking beer watching you work to be helpful.

Very funny Dave. You could have stood there laughing at me as I was cussing like a sailer.......
The truck does seem to run a bit better now so I'm glad I did it either way....

Don't feel bad, I had hell putting my HTT on; I, in my dumb state of mind, didn't put the oil return line on before bolting the turbo up and it took about 1 1/2 hr to get my hand in there to get it on (I wasn't about to unbolt that turbo again). Turned it in to a 5 1/2 hr ordeal. Bloody knuckles and ALOT of cussin' and scrambling out from under the truck so I could go kick the truck into submission, but the end result was priceless. This truck always puts a smile on my face!

My arms are still covered in scabs where I would try to loosen the bolts and then the vise-grips would give way and my arm would slam into something sharp. Not to mention that sharp edge I kept hitting my head on as I tried to work through the wheelwell...... LOL

A good way to get the rear two nuts off is with a real long extension and an impact from the bottom. I did it and it worked perfect. They were easier to get out than the front 2.

yelloz28, I tried that but that nut was just really rusted on there good.

klx650a2, that's funny. I'll try it next time...

And I could have dealt with the turbo nut stripping out with no problem but when that rear bottom exhaust manifold bolt rounded out on me I could have filled up a cuss jar in a matter of minutes...
