just installed an A5000 turbo on a truck,thought was a drop in but the air intake is gona be a pita.any one got any easy ideas to make an air intake adapter for a 5000....thanks

A factory elbow will work. Just need to make it were it cant suck itself together and shut off air. Thats what ats sent with mine to use.

how are you getting the factory one to work are you triming it some,min doesnt have room to fit without beinmushed by the oil filter..

 

The stock elbow is a four to five. Put the 5inch on the turbo and it fits between the turbo and oil filter. Worked fine for me, mine is an 06 but i wouldnt think it'd be different.

 

one of them will work and one of them wont. you have to turn in around like turbopower said. i used that and then used a 4-5" adapter and slid one of those rubber elbows over the pipe similars to the big ****** whistler uses. then slid an adapter into it thats 5-6" and put an afe filter on the end of that. I would take pics and post it but that never seems to work for me
