650-700 HP, Opinions?

Hey guys i am wanting the truck to be in the 650-700 range. Here is what i am thinking II Silver Bullet, Floor- it stage 2 or 3 cp3? Flux 3's or so, I will be running the smarty TNT/ mp8 stack. I dont want the truck to black out every intersection but smoke is ok, I want to be sure about the injector choice(not to big not to small), so any opinion or set-ups you guys have for this HP range please post. Thanks

even the silver bullet will be hot in that range. if you can twins would deal with the heat better.

I thought the bullet could handle up to 800? It will be hot @ 650?

What if i backed down to Flux 2's or DDP 120's still make the power? little less heat? Or should i do 3's and spray water or a small shot of Nitrois to try and cool things?

i would say that setup would be over 700. i dont know as far as heat goes but i can say with my current setup with stock pump and stix i can peg the pyro pretty easy with the silver bullet. in all actuality i think its a sweet charger but if you want to keep egts in check i really dont see it adequately cooling more than 650 hp worth fuel without a little help from some water/nitrous

You can make 650-700 with flux 2s. A few weeks ago a fella did 707 or 711 or a low 700 run anyway with flux 2s, but he had duall cp3s and a medium set of twins.

I agree with the above, the sb will make the power but its gona be hot, if you set on a single a Aurora 5000 would be a better choice.

Twins will smoke a lot less than a big single - at least on take off.
Haven't had a chance to dyno mine yet, but it should be 650 or a little better with flux 2s and small twins.

I agree flux 3s would be too big for that range, the 2s would be cleaner, and cooler, those mpi twins with one as the stock turbo sound nice and would be much nicer to drive/tow still.

ok, I think you guys have convinced me to go with twins. stock/s400 or stock/ht3b and what is the difference? Nathans MPI set ups look really sweet, but the arctic air twins from relentless look good too and a little cheaper. Are there big dif. between the s400 ht3b set up? Twins, Flux 2s,
What stage pump and from who?

Talk to Nathan about the HT3B. He's a turbo guru and can tell you anything you want to know about any of these turbos.

The S400 moves more air than the HT3B, but the best part is that the S400 can be easily upgraded to an S480 if you outgrow the setup. Those two things make it well worth the extra couple bucks.

I agree, twins- stocker and s400 spool lightning fast and smoke clears well, while keeping egts cool!

I wouldnt slap a big single back on for a street driven truck

if you don't go with twins and make 700 its more than likely going to be a HOT 700...why not twins?

see thats what I was told that an s400 with twin cp3's,flux 3 or 3.5's would be pretty good for the daily driver in mind and also the II SB would be a nice turbo for the power and yes I was told it would be a lil bit warm but some water would be fine on them if needed and the smarty with maybe a set of springs and helix 2 but I just dont know if I will have the money to do the twins
