Angry 6" Lift = Very Bright Headlights & Unhappy People!!!

Recently bought a 2007 3500 with a 6" BDS lift. Every Tom, Dick and Harry loves to bright me at night and I'm getting sick of it. How does a guy properly adjust my headlights accordingly to the raise in height besides using the old school garage door technique??? Even trucker's are flashing me and they are already 15' in the air!!!

I adjusted mine to achieve the most light without blinding oncoming traffic. Adjust them, throw the Torx driver in the truck, and go for a drive. If you need to adjust them again, pull over, make the change, and start driving again. Once you lift your truck the measuring method doesn't really work anymore.

I have the same problem with my 3"lift, especially when towing. I usually run with daytime lights and my running lights(fog lights), or even my highbeams and doest seem to bother anyone, I thought about adjusting them, but man ooh man the way they are pointing it gives me unbelievable lighting in the back roads with low beams and drive lights on.

No doubt. I hate to adjust them but I'm sick of the bright lights and blinding those poor people in their rearview mirrors.

It most defineatly can be a safety concern to other drivers.Adjusting them is the best thing to do. I guess.

6" suspension and add a 3" bodylift to the equation and 37" tires and about 800lbs of weight in the bed. I am still seeing spots from the drive to Washington for Christmas with the kids.

Torx bit probably, I have the PIAA super white bulbs and they were adjusted by the dealership when I put them on since they had the lines on the door, still get flashed. Some ppl are just too picky with lights also.
