6 inch exhaust tip

Does anyone know where I can get a 6 inch exhaust tip that will slide on to my stock 4 inch exhaust tail-pipe?

PowerstrokeThis, I can assure you that an aftermarket exhaust will not void your warranty. If your local dealer is telling you that then you need to find a new dealer. Look into and read about the Magnusson-Ross Act (someone correct me if that's not what it's called).

Anyway, Rip Rook has several available that will fit your 4" pipe.

why should he buy an aftermarket system when he's already got a 4" system from the factory? it's going to support all the power he's going to make while under warrant.

Since the newer trucks already have 4" stock what's the point. Go 5" exhaust and Rip's custom 5-6 x 24 tip.

I don't think anyone actually SUGGESTED that he get a new exhaust. He's only asking about getting an exhaust tip.

However, on another post he was inquiring about getting a 5" exhaust. Apparently he now thinks that he cannot do that because it will void his warranty. I was just stating that it would not.

Obviously, if he already has a 4" exhaust then it does not make much sense to buy another one. And, unless he just wants that big exhaust sound, it does not make much sense to go with a 5" exhaust either (assuming he is not going to exceed 500 HP).

Tips....however.....tips are another issue.
