Hit the rollers today with a bunch of guys from Illinois. My best run out of three was with my Diablo custom tune, VanAaken3.2 on middle power level and XZT pressure only. I tried the same setup with the VA on max but lost some horsepower and egt's sailed to 1600 VERY quickly. Must be draining the rail. At least I know my limitations...
1200 plus torque on every run.

trik396, nice numbers. Congratualtions. Nice to know Joliet actually has a place to properly dyno diesels. This shows how long it has been since I've been back 'home'.
Did you dyno with the converter in lock-up? and have you done any 0-60, 1/8 or 1/4 mi numbers? I DO know you have a nice drag strip nearby (Route 66). I have been there.

Geez Tony - what are you thinking of with a single H2O/CH3OH jet?
You've got more than enough fuel to warrant 2, even if they're still single-staged or ramped... and I bet you've got a charger that could handle a healthy load of meth!
Congrats on great #s

I was just hoping to have only one nozzle because I only have one hole tapped and capped in my intake right now... really didn't want to pull it off again, but if I have to, I will. Thanks for the congrats guys.
I still have to stud the head then I think a little shot of H2O alone might help me hit 600...

No video. I took pics of everyone on the dyno but I don't think anyone got pics of me...
Had a little scare on the third pull where I had my VA on high. Pretty sure I drained the rail, made about ten less hp, but after I got off the throttle everyone was pointing to under my truck... Talk about a sick feeling. They said something was dripping. Let her cool down while a few guys got under to see what they could find. There was about a 3" circle of wet concrete, not even a puddle of what they thought was coolant, but it was really dark. Anyway we couldn't find anywhere it may have come from...? Looks like it came from the crankcase breather tube as it was right below it. I checked my oil several times the next few hours my truck sat in the parking lot and the oil level was exactly where it was when I left and checked it in the morning. Nothing out of the ordinary. No wierd sounds. Nothing around/on the engine anywhere...?
Some guys speculate I might've lifted the head a bit and lost a few drops of coolant??? I really don't know. Temps went down quickly after the pull as I idled. They were at around 205 at the highest and I watched them drop to around 191 when I shut down. Drive home was uneventful. I will not do anything crazy at all until I stud my head ... Hopefully this week...

I would think that with a SB64 at 45psi drive pressures wouldnt be enough to lift the head, I dont know what kind of timing you where runnin but I wouldnt THINK the head lifted. I guess you checked your coolant for oil and oil for coolant?

Checked oil for coolant but didn't open the radiator cap yet... Going to do that right now. I'll get back... I don't think it's the head either because I/we couldn't find anything wet up top by the head all the way around. Drive pressures should still be low at 45psi as you've stated. It did run hot very quickly last run though. But only for a second or two at the most.

Oil is fine. Opened rad cap. What exactly am I looking for? Coolant is redish looking down the hole, so I don't know what I'm looking for as far as oil is concerned?
